These seem to work pretty well. Can tell a difference after I got them put outside, I just put them right outside the house where we had a couple ants coming in. They last for a little while too before you need to replace them. I wouldn't recommend eating them, I don't know why there is a flavor rating on the review part here. I didn't try them, just figured I would give them a low rating on flavor to be safe

The best product by far for getting rid of a carpenter ant problem. Have not been able to find these locally and so happy I could find them here. Just stick in the ground where you notice ant action and in 3 days the ants all about all gone. Replace in 6-8 weeks. I’ve even been able to get by without a replacement for a whole summer.

There are two different versions of these. One is marked "Outdoors", the other is marked "Indoors & Outdoors". They have different active ingredients. I have tried both. The "Outdoors" works effectively. The other one is worthless. I ordered the "Outdoors" one, and the other one arrived. I returned it and was charged a 20% restocking fee.

The main ingredient in this formulation does not work for the ants in my neighborhood. I had a trail of ants and I placed three of these stakes in strategic places along their route. The ants went around and over the stakes but never into them! They are using a different chemical for the bait and it is totally ineffective. If I could have given it zero stars I would have.

I love these ant spikes. I tried other products as have had large ant hills but nothing worked until I tried these spikes. I always have them on hand now. Much better than sprinkling ant powder around.

This item is supposedly only for Outdoor only which I ordered it for. But they sent me a different version that is for both Indoor & Outdoor. This Indoor & Outdoor version has half the substance of the Outdoor one. Its plastic capsule has additional holes on the side to "attract" ants better, but actually makes it less effective for Outdoor usage as it now allows rain and dirt/soil to come in and dilute the substance.

This was the first time using an outdoor ant killer and this product. Did not work at all. I will go back to Terro. Waste of money!

This is the only ant bait we've used for years. Be patient for results. It takes a few weeks for the entire colony to die.
