These vitamins have everything I need to keep me healthy all in one pill. Just taking one pill a day is a big plus for me. They're designed for bariatric patients, but I'm always low on iron, so I thought I would give these wafers a try. I've taken iron in liquid and pill form and those methods were not for me-the liquid is not pleasant tasting, to say the least. The pills always left me burping or with an acidy tummy. I liked the taste of the berry flavored chewable iron tablets from another company, but they melted in the bottle in humid weather! They were just too expensive to waste in such a manner. So here I am with this pill. So far so good. The chewable taste isn't great -but only one pill per day and they are less expensive. I'm sold!!!

This is the best option available for gastric patients....HANDS DOWN!! I had gastric bypass in January 2015 and was told I needed a chewable or crushed multivitamin with iron daily. All other chewables on the market require you to take multiple pills daily in order to fulfill the daily requirement. This only requires ONE chewable pill daily! It has an orange taste to it similar to a baby aspirin, but it tastes good as far as meds go and the taste is very short lived. Just had my 6 month post-op and my labs were spot on. Can't beat the price either whether you order from Amazon or directly from the Procare website. Fast shipping by both parties as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!Update: 2 years later, I'm still taking this multivitamin once daily! The chewable formula changed a bit since my initial review, but for the better! No longer the orange baby aspirin taste. It is closer to a berry type taste now and the shape is a bit larger and flatter, but the after taste is still very short lived and the best vitamin on the market by far. My labs are consistently on point every quarter...actually my endocrinologist just told me they are textbook perfect. Can't ask for better than that! Highly recommend!!!!2nd Update: Over 3 years taking this multivitamin and still no complaints.I take this once daily in the morning and my calcium at night for better absorption. Quality is still consistent and all labs have remained consistently level as well. Thank you Procare for creating and delivering such a great product!!UPDATE: 7.5 years later and have since shifted from chewable version to the veggie capsule version of this vitamin. Labs are still consistent and spot on. My Dr is happy and I am happy to not be taking multiple pills a day. One pill a day every day for 7.5 yrs with no complaints. My bariatric and endo drs say they have recommended this vitamin to other patients as well with consistent results. Thank you Procare for delivering a superior product!! Oh and Procare offers auto delivery subscriptions directly on their website now so I never run out of my vitamins.

I'm glad I was able to figure out how to edit this review. My first review was far from flattering based on taste, but this company bends over backwards to improve on a great concept. I HAVE to take a multitude of vitamins daily and this was a thrill for me to try. One a day? WOW my cup of tea. The first time I tried them about a year ago I could barely make it through the bottle. Taste was not good for me. But this company read the reviews and immediately went to work to improve the taste. AND sent me a sample to try. Now THAT's what I call customer care. The new Bariatric Complete Once a day vitamins are the Bomb and I am super impressed with the updated version.A company like you will have me as a customer for life! Thank you for improving this product and I hope all bariatric patients give you a try. Convenience at a price I can afford. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

I was so excited when I got the notice that my package was delivered! I've been suffering from fatigue & noticing I'm becoming a bit forgetful which I know is common in wls patients.ive tries other vitamins and they weren't any help.Adter reading the reviews I decided to give this product a try.... well ... While the shipping was great sue foe nwinf a prime member & the cost was fine , the taste was horrible! It was gritty, and has an terrible after taste! It has a slight citrus-like flavor to it but it's not pleasant enough to mask the other strong "flavors"I was so hoping that this product was "the one"! I guess it's back to the drawing board...$wasted '

Such a weird freaking taste. Starts like an orange sherbet, then gets INSANELY SOUR, then nice orange sherbet after taste. It’s so weird. But it didn’t make me sick and it dissolved quickly while chewing, went down very easily.I had the DS and haven’t had any issues with nausea or vomiting so if you have those problems, I can’t really speak to how this would affect you. I can only say it didn’t make me sick at all.I don’t get labs done again until September 2020 but if the labs are bad, I’ll come update my review.I hate taking pills and my surgeon’s office approved these except for B12, have to take an additional supplement which is fine. And calcium, obviously.

Pro: one tablet a day and don’t have to take multiple a day. Yes the tablet is as big as quarter but again, just one, and not too thickCon: you can really REALLY taste the vitamins; severely. The thin “citrus shell” makes it easy to start chewing it. Upon reaching the center, you really taste the vitamins. But so far no other complaints. I’m eventually going back to the capsules. I do recommend them if you CANNOT do capsules

They may not taste the best but they are the only chewable approved by the Bariatric Center of Excellence that I had my surgery at. I used them for the first 2 months post op then I was able to switch over to the same brand capsules, all of my blood work has came back perfect, they are worth the price and I only had to deal with the taste Once a Day verses the other brands that you have to take 3-4 times per day. A cruddy taste once a day is well worth the price and perfect blood worth, Bariatric surgery is not easy but your vitamins can be.
