Daikin 24,000 BTU 17 SEER Wall-Mounted Ductless Mini-Split A/C Heat Pump System 15-ft Installation Kit and Wall Mounting Bracket 220V

This is a really nice system overall. I installed most of it myself, but I will say that I wish it would have come with a nice template poster that would assist in the mounting process of the interior system like some of the other DIY systems do. I had to install my system very high on my wall and it wasn't easy to do. However the rest of the install was very easy. I connected the lines to the interior unit and then had a HVAC guy come out and vacuum out the lines and make the final connections. While I was hoping to not have to hire anyone to do this, It does make me feel more confident in the system. I got the 24k btu system and install it in my garage/wood shop. So far it seems to be working great. on a 95 degree day outside I can bring the temp inside the shop down to about 74 degrees in about an hour and a half and keep it there all day. One strange thing is that the ac never seems to turn off. I can't tell if it is just the fan constantly running or if is just needs to constantly run to keep the temp right. I do recommend this system, but please do your planning before you start and take your time.

Now that it's up and running, I think it's fantastic! We knew nothing about Installation. The instructions were pretty much worthless. We watched numerous YouTube videos. Some help, although not enough. All said and done, we're really happy with the final product. Now, in the midst of a heatwave, we have zero regrets. Be prepared, there will be extra expenses. We had to hire an electrician and we did have a heating and cooling guy to make sure that everything was up to code. Also, to make sure that your electrical can handle the extra drain that this will put out.There are many options to chose from. Great mini split!

This was easy to instal, works perfect, no complaints! Very efficient. Daikin is the only brand I would recommend, had others, hands down will only buy Daikin from now on.

A/C installed without issue as described. Vacuumed the unit down, wired electrical and opened the valves. Works great. Learning to operate the "remote" is the most difficult part.

This was pretty easy to install and works GREAT. Super fast shipping but fedex screwed up and did not notify me right away it was ready to deliver. I wish I would of bought this year's ago for the basement. I am impressed and would not hesitate to buy this. Cools 2000 sq ft quick. we will see how the heat works in another month.

Seems like a great unit when it works. The problem is it only works for 30-45 minutes. You can't turn back on until you go and shut off the breaker, wait for a count of 10 and then reset breaker and turn unit back on. I hired an electrician to fix the problem, they called and spoke with Daikin customer service. They were great, told electrician exterior unit is faulty and needed to send back for exchange. Tried to go through Amazon, who requested the transaction number from Daikin. Gave them the number and asked what was next. They didn't reply. I waited a few days, let them know I live in AZ, its 110 degrees and I need to know what to do next. No reply. I had to get my bank involved to reverse charges. Very frustrating because I spend a lot of money with Amazon, 90% of the time customer service is great. This one, maybe because a larger item didnt go too well.

This was a perfect option for studio cabin with cathedral roof it draws the air down from the top and blows the air towards the floor so it circulates the air. I am a licensed installer for the state of Kentucky install time took about 6 hours to make everything look pretty with line head cover and make sure it's up to code for the state. Proper pressure test and vacuum approximately 2 hour time 4 hours to actual installing 6 hrs total time.
