Great stilts
First of Read the Information that says to use on thinly glazed base, or surprise they'll stick.Otherwise using them is great for odd shaped pieces and leave no divets or sharp glaze to be ground after firing.

Great for glaze firing
These hold your pottery pieces off of the kiln shelf. Easy to use, they come in a little plastic reusable box. Be careful of the placement of your pottery pieces as the nails can get stuck in your glaze and be hard to remove without pliers.

They are tiny
I guess I should have paid attention to the dimensions. I just looked at the picture with the teapot and assumed they would be bigger. The teapot was in fact very very small and made these ceramic cones appear much bigger.

Way smaller than picture in the photograph
The image products are deceiving as I though these were larger than they were even placed next to the teapot. Not worth the price paid at all.
