Please, stop comparing!
There’s been a lot of reviews comparing this against the original Civil War, with many people saying it’s nowhere near as good. I disagree. Personally, as someone who has read and enjoyed Mark Millar’s Civil War, I throughly enjoyed Civil War 2; the story is compelling and original, and the panel art is fantastic. It’s worth the read and the price tag, and it’s probably one of my favourite Marvel novels thus far. So I can’t understand what the bad press is about! In my opinion, the problem is not with this story but with the habitual and unnecessary analysis we, as readers, perform on things when they share similar titles. If this had been retitled differently, like “Ulysses” or “Farsighted”, I think the more negative reviewers would have read this based on its own merits—which they should have done in the first place—and given more positive reviews as a result. Please don’t misunderstand, I’m not against the title. I think this deserves it’s title—the labels fits the contents. Just don’t read this expecting the first book; if you want to read Civil War, just read Civil War again! But if you want to read another fantastic, and important story that develops the Marvel Universe, then get your face into this.—Tristan Sherwin, author of Living the Dream?: The Problem with Escapist, Exhibitionist, Empire-Building Christianity

First Marvel story I've enjoyed for a while.
I've found Marvel to be a but hit and miss lately but really enjoyed this story. The only thing that knocked it down a star was the end was set up to get one person out the way to allow a new character to take over. But I won't say who as don't want to spoil it.Well worth a read in my opinion.

Good Guys vs Good Guys!
We all love it when heroes can't see eye to eye. Like real people. A good read, giving page-time to some that are sometimes over-looked.
