Can’t taste the bergamot and possibly plastic tea bags?
Vastly overpriced supposedly gourmet product. The bergamot cannot be tasted. And I suspect the tea bags are made of plastic. Absolutely out of order and unacceptable. Micro plastic on my tea? No thank you.

Great
Smell and taste is great! all 25 come individually packed in tiny bags, but they're all in one large bag.

Mild, earthy cup of Earl
This was a beautifully presented 25 bag tea of spice Earl Gray. It arrived fresh and had pleasant earthy tones with a mild spice taste. It did not need additions to enjoy a warm, relaxing cup. I feel it's a bit of a treat order at this price point, even gift quality, especially with the packaging.

Peppery, not much flavor
I'm used to drinking flavorful earl Grey. This particular tea was lacking and had a bitter peppery quality to it. I was not impressed.

good bergamot flavor, smooth tea
The thing I look for in an earl grey tea is a good balance of black tea flavor and bergamot. This had a good bergamot flavor, but I would have liked a stronger black tea element. I found that it worked well with a long steep, but that imparted a bit of bitterness. For a smooth tea, I I had to be careful not to over-brew, but then I didn't get the intensity I wanted. This was still an enjoyable tea, and it had a lovely aroma and beautiful color. It was also tasty to drink straight ("black"), but not strong enough for those who want to add milk or sweetener.

Quality Assam tea bags, good for a gift
These are good Assam Earl Grey tea bags. The tea bags are the nice quality mesh bags, and the box looks good for a gift. The Assam tea flavor is fairly strong, with a hint of bergamot that almost tastes flowery to me.Earl Grey is my favorite type of tea, and I usually prefer a Ceylon tea, but I wanted to try this for an Assam tea. Assam is bolder than Ceylon, and perhaps a little more bitter. Ceylon is lighter and milder, and the bergamot usually stands out more. So, if you want more tea flavor, and especially if you like Assam, I recommend giving this tea a try.
