Better than the others
I bought this product, 3 Stormsure 5g tubes, to repair some rubber hunting boots that developed some cracks where they flex. Boots have been used for 3 deer seasons and two turkey seasons and many miles of hiking. The places that cracked would prevent a patch from doing it's job. I know this because I tried two other products without success. Stormsure seemed like the last resort or I would have to buy new boots. Well I applied to the interior of the crack first and then to the outside and top of crack and held closed for a few minutes while watching a tv show. When I released it held so I let it dry overnight and in the morning it still felt a bit tacky, even soft so I let dry for another 24 hours before testing. Of the 3 spots on each boot I repaired it waterproofed and held together very well. I have since hunted with them and walked though a few deep streams and found another spot on each boot I need to treat. The repairs are obvious and shiny so after boots are fully repaired I will probably paint over to camouflage the repair and dull the reflections. When opening the tube you use the cap to puncture the seal on the tube. Do not squeeze the tube while doing this or you will have a lot come out all at once. I did use my fingers to smooth it into the areas it needed to go and it does stick to your fingers however it removes somewhat easily before it cures if you just rub your fingers together and use some soap. Once it cures I don't think it will remove quite so easily. One thing of concern was I bought the three small tubes so I could give one to a friend, use one and keep one as a reserve while hunting. The one I used was about half empty and I then placed the cap back on. When I reopened it the top half was cured and I had to cut open the tube to get the remaining product out for use. Was a messy endeavor but worth it not to throw away half used tube. Perhaps I had a bad seal on the cap but I would think twice before buying the larger tube and loosing some each time I use it. I think the smaller tubes are the way to go unless you are repairing a large quantity of items all at once.I would recommend this product to anyone and will buy again.

Can fix a vinyl window to soft top roof repair!!
I initially bought this product in 2015 to stop some small areas of fraying on the canvas roof on my 2002 SL500. It did the job with part of the 1st tube, so as the instructions stated, I put the rest of that tube in the freezer and I kept the other 2 tubes on my workbench. Fast-forward 3 years… my top now had splits between the windows and the canvas at the folds where it went into storage area when the roof was put down. I naively thought that I could just have the windows replaced… not so!! I was now looking at replacing the roof for $1950. I put the current roof on it just 8 years ago (for $1500) and wasn’t really looking forward to doing that again so soon! Then I remembered the Stormsure I had in the freezer and on my workbench. I let the tube from the freezer thaw for a bit and was surprised to see that it was still usable. Now there was no way to lay this repair flat or to do it from the inside for fear of dripping on my tonneau cover… so I did the repair from the outside, taping the inside to keep the glue from dripping in. It did run a little as it was on an angle, but I went down every hour or so to smooth it out. I don’t know why some people buy convertibles and never put the top down, but I do! Every day that it is over 60 and not raining the top comes down. I have used the top probably 60 times since I have done the repair and while it isn’t the prettiest thing…it’s not horrible either… and the most important thing is when it rains the water doesn’t come in. That’s all I could ask for!! So to sum it up for me… $1950 for a new roof or $12 for Stormsure and get over my vanity… Stormsure WON!! THANKS for the great product!!

For Mustang Convertible Vinyl Top repairs
Mustang convertible top had a small hole , Duct tape or black silicone didn't work .After search and reviews this Stormsure did the trick ! Make sure you buy the 3 pak small tubes.Clean area and dry free of any oils. ambient temp on vinyl. Don't touch the glue. a little just enough over the hole and let it settle , dont touch for 24 hours. No matter how tight you seal the cap. it harden over time. so don't buy the big tube unless you need it. the little tube works best when you open it. plan your sealer job. I had enough left and decided to apply the glue from the underside TOP with a pc of vinyl and glue to seal the leak. I have not try it on a knife cut top yet. Lucky the car is store inside, It wont seal if the area is at a stretch tension area when top expand or contracts on or very close to the roof rails, Good Luck

This is it!
Have you tried basically every glue and adhesive out there, only to be disappointed again and again? Me too. Until now. I love this stuff. I fixed an inflatable kayak with it (a year ago, on the seam!), a pair to rain pants, leather boots, an RC airplane (multiple times in different areas), the seal on my fridge, and a bunch of stuff I can't even remember. Holds and flexes and so far hasn't peeled or pulled apart. Tip, get the 3 small tubes vs the one large tube as it doesn't take much and you don't want to risk letting it dry out. I keep mine in the freezer, which helps.

Cracked rubber boot repair
I chose this product to repair 3” and 5” tears on rubber boots. The tube is easy to open, and one tube covered both tears. I watched some online videos so I knew to stuff newspapers inside the boot first. I appreciated the enclosed single-use plastic gloves because this is very sticky goo! There’s a very strong odor, so use this outside or have good ventilation. I hoped that the kit would also come with some free patching tape, because I may need it for the bigger 5” tear. I’ll let this dry 12 hrs and then I may add a 2nd coating. I’ll edit soon to add update on results. UPDATE: Success! It took 2 separate applications, but the big tear in the boots has been repaired!
