Electric Kettle Gooseneck Teakettle for Pour Over Drip Coffee and Tea, Built-in Thermometer, Strix Controller, Auto Shut Off, 1.0L

I wanted a tea kettle for the upstairs master bedroom to brew up a cuppa when I am working or lounging upstairs. I was attracted to this model because of the gooseneck (good for pouring over tea leaves or coffee grounds), the smaller size (1L), and the thermometer on top. I do like to adjust the temp according to the type of tea and this allows me to do that. It boils water VERY quickly. It shuts off when it boils. The on/off switch also lights up blue so it is obvious if it is on. My more expensive kettle in the kitchen can be programmed to shut off at a specific temperature; this one does not do that. One must watch the temp go up on the thermometer, or let it cool a bit if it has become too hot. But for the price, there is no kettle that allows programming them temp so this is better than no control. Easy to clean. I like that the entire top comes off for filling and cleaning. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to friends.

I have used this product once and it did the job. However I had to push the power button 5 or 6 times before it would stay on. Once I got it on it worked wonderfully. Hoping it will work the first try from now on.The kettle was delivered with a small plastic tube around the end of the spout. I could not pull it off and had to use scissors to cut it off. After doing so, being careful not to scratch the kettle the entire time, it appeared parts of the plastic peice had melted during transit and stuck to the spout which would make sense why I couldn't just pull it off After asking the company about not being able to remove the peice they told me to use a knife or scissors, not very helpful. Thankfully my husband took some time to peel it all off and I was able to wash off the residue with hot water. An easy fix.Overall I'm happy so far. I will update my review if it works great or worse after some time using it. Right now I recommend. It's beautiful and I love the built in thermometer. It's not like a short spout tea kettle, you must stand by it and watch it taking it off the heat at the temperature you want. If you are looking for something that will whistle when ready this is not for you.I bought this to make pour overs with coffee at home and the gooseneck is perfect for that. Great price and great product! While the feedback they gave me in reference to the plastic peice was not helpful they responded promptly within just a few hours.

I bought this specifically to make pourovers. A regular kettle is fine for making tea or a pot of French press. But if you need a controlled steady drizzle of water over the course of 2-3 min you’re going to have a bad time with a regular kettle. Kettles like this one that pour from the bottom offer a consitant gentle flow of water which I find to be ideal for a good pour over. Just tried it for the first time, after receiving it a few days ago and it helps make a great cup of coffee.

Its good to drink hot water daily. So wanted to buy this .. its totally aluminium there is no plastic anywhere.. it heates the wager very fast for me to drink 45 seconds is enough to heat. It shows the temperature of the water 120-130F is when we can easily drink. Good thing is it also keeps water warm for hours. There is a on off button at the bottom.. if we forget ti turnoff it automatically shuts of once the water reaches boiling point. It is worth and very much useful as our body needs warm water daily... also i drink green tea in tge afternoon so this is very helpful.

I love this thing. I love that I can turn it off as soon as it gets to a specific temperature. I’ve used it for coffee and tea (especially for my kids, it’s great I don’t have to make them wait five years for it to cool down). I’ve even used it to heat water to 109° exactly and finally had success not killing yeast for the first time ever, which was pretty exciting. If you tip it too far when pouring, it does leak some, but I’m just impatient. Other than that, I’ve found no drawbacks. Definitely recommend. Also, it looks nice.

There are two plastic pieces inside the pot which isn't good with high temperature water...

We have started using our coffee pot instead of a coffee machine and the stove top kettle was taking too long and too difficult to get a defined pour. The Electric Kettle heats up water to a boil very quickly. The handle is easy to hold, and the gooseneck spout makes it much easier to pour. It is compact, attractive, and makes making coffee in the morning much easier than using a stove top kettle. I also like that it is metal instead of plastic.

Great Product. I bought the gooseneck because our 11 year old daughter wanted to start making her own tea. I choose the gooseneck over the traditional teapot because there is less of a chance of hot water splash. I really like the product and the thermometer is a big plus!
