I’ve been using another brand of silica hair powder but decided to try this one as it’s less expensive. I’m a woman with a shoulder length bob. I make parts one at a time all over my head (on dry hair after washing) and hold each part open with little claw clips. Then I either shake the powder along the part or shake some powder onto my fingers and spread it along the part. I rub it along the part and then make the next part. I use this product so my very fine hair has some texture and isn’t so flat against my head. It works great. It’s a little stickier than the other product I was using and it’s a little more clumpy when trying to sprinkle it directly onto a part but it’s significantly less expensive so I’m fine with it. If other people complain about the stickiness of a styling product, for me that is a positive thing. I can still brush my hair without any problem.

Is that my hair?! As a middle aged man I am, as of recently, started struggling with hair loss. I have used different powders but decided to try something new with this one and damn…it’s thick and puffy. It does not hold well but gives a great boost in texture and thickness. 4 star's because it doesn’t hold well at all

Product is perfect! Has a pleasant scent and gives my hair the right amount of hold and texture while looking natural. I have super thin hair and this type of product is the only thing h that gives me texture all day! I noticed a lot of the lower star reviews were due to people using the product incorrectly - sprinkle the product directly onto your hair, not your hands, then just mess up your hair to get the product down to the roots and throughout hair, then style how you want!

I hate to even admit this but my son has the alpaca hair or the broccoli hair at this point I don’t know which one is better…this stuff works so well it stayed in my sons hair for two weeks not even getting rinsed out by the shower!!! Well come to find out he was out of shampoo so he would just wet his hair 😳 (I know gross) luckily with some good ol shampoo and conditioner we got it out in time for school the next day where he ones again styled his broccoli florets!

It's fun, but If you have thick asian type hair like I do, this product probably won't do a whole lot for you. It didn't add much texture, less hold than pomade, and I don't need more volume. Also, if you prefer to retain your natural hair oil, it's basically just like that in terms of texture and volume, and maybe adds a bit of hold without looking greasy. The main use I see for this product is after going in a chlorinated pool and getting your hair stripped it gets all flat, and maybe this could reverse that.

best product for my hair. It’s a white powder that does wonders. Any other gels or sprays or powders DO NOT WORK. Lasts all day. If you put too much it does leave white in your hair but all you have to do is ruffle it out. And it add volume and makes your hair feel a little thicker !!!!!!!!
